Vitamin C Supplement Bio-C-Vitamin from Pharma Nord contains 750mg of vitamin C. It is blister-packed to protect the delicate active ingredients from the atmosphere.
Vitamin C is water-soluble and must be obtained from the diet as it cannot be produced by the body. It is one of the most easily destroyed nutrients during food preparation, storage and cooking processes.
Pharma Nord Bio-C-Vitamin is made with a non-acidic vitamin C source (calcium ascorbate) and is gentle on the stomach lining.
Suggested Use
Pharma Nord recommends 1 tablet per day or as directed by physician.

Warnings / Contraindications
The toxicity of vitamin C is extremely low with intakes of 1000mg being safely taken. Intakes in excess of 2000mg per day may cause gastro-intestinal disturbance in susceptible individuals and may also interfere with absorption of calcium and selenium. Vitamin C facilitates the absorption of iron from the diet, therefore high doses should not be taken by those with iron overload syndromes such as thalasaemia and haematochromatosis High intakes of vitamin C should not be taken by those susceptible to kidney stones. Pregnant or lactating women and those on medication should consult a doctor before taking nutritional supplements.
